Our commitment

disability.insure is published by Kandelaki Solutions LLC. We want every visitor, including people with disabilities, to be able to read this site, use its tools, and contact us.

Standard

This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Measures taken

• Every page and control can be reached and used with a keyboard alone.
• Keyboard focus is always visible, with a 2px focus ring.
• Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
• Body text is 18px, and no text is smaller than 15px.
• Buttons, links, and form controls have tap targets of at least 44px.
• Images and icons that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• Pages use headings, landmarks, and labelled form fields, and form errors are announced and described in text.
• Pages reflow to a 320px wide screen without sideways scrolling.
• There are no pop-ups, no exit prompts, and no chat window that opens by itself. The homepage carousel advances every 8 seconds; it has a pause control, stops on any interaction, and does not move at all when your device is set to reduce motion.

Known limitations

We know of no accessibility barriers on this site. Some photos are placeholder images; they are illustrative only, and their text alternatives say so.
